Igloo integration
Overview
Using a smart lock is truly the safest way to do self-showings. It allows generating a specific code for each tour, which is valid for only a short period, so that codes cannot be reused. And there are no keys involved, so access is truly isolated to their short tour time.
Igloo has several devices, both deadbolts and keyboxes, and all are supported with this integration.
How do I set it up?
To start, you'll need an IglooWorks account. Once that's set up, an account owner can:
Log into Showdigs.
Click on the gear icon, then Settings in the main menu.
Click Integrations.
Locate the 'Igloo Integration' setting and click "Connect Igloo account."
Input your Igloo login credentials.
Once you have entered your credentials, you should be good to go. You can find a list of your locks and keyboxes on the Devices page (menu > gear icon > Devices).
You can assign the locks and keyboxes from the Devices page, or during the "Start showing" flow.
Are there any charges associated with these devices?
No, not through Showdigs. Any Igloo related charges will come directly from Igloo.
What does a self-showing look like for a prospect?
You can see a good walkthrough in this article.
How are codes generated?
Each tour will have a unique access code that's only good for the prospect's tour time (plus a small buffer).
You can view the specific code for a self-showing tour on the tour page in Showdigs.
All generated codes will be logged in Igloo and can be accessed from your IglooWorks account.
