What does a "Hot Lead" mean?

Edited

A prospect marked with "Hot Lead" on the Leasing page indicates a high level of interest in a property. This designation is applied for one of two primary reasons:

Criteria for Hot Lead Status

  • The agent has marked the prospect as "Likely to apply" on the tour report.

  • The prospect completed the tour report immediately after touring the property. In this scenario, they are classified as a "Hot Lead" for a duration of 72 hours, during which the tour and the property are still fresh in their mind.

Implications of Hot Lead Status

Both of these cases suggest that the lead is interested and is likely to apply for the property. This presents an opportune moment for Property managers to reach out and address any final questions the prospect may have, potentially increasing the chances of a successful application.
