Switch between Agent and Self-Showing tours

Use this guide to change a unit’s showing method from an agent-led option to Self-showing, or from Self-showing back to an agent-led option.

Agent-led showing options include:

• Showdigs Agents Only

• Scheduled Availability

• Open House

Self-showing lets qualified leads tour a property without an agent, using the access setup configured for that unit.

1. Go to the unit you want to update.

2. Open the unit’s showing settings or showing profile.

3. Find the showing method or tour type section.

4. Select Self-showing.

5. Review the self-showing requirements for the unit, including:

   • Access device or lockbox setup

   • Showing instructions

   • Lead qualification settings

   • Available showing times

6. Save your changes.

Once saved, you'll be able to choose what to do with currently scheduled tours. You'll be able to keep them as-is (assigned to an agent) or cancel them and invite prospects to schedule a new, self-showing tour. The reschedule flow ensures they comply with any changes to your pre-screening or AI Identity Verification.

1. Go to the unit you want to update.

2. Open the unit’s showing settings or showing profile.

3. Find the showing method or tour type section.

4. Choose one of the agent-led options:

   • Showdigs Agents Only

   • Scheduled Availability

   • Open House

5. Complete the settings for the selected option:

   • For Showdigs Agents Only, confirm the unit is ready for Showdigs agent coverage.

   • For Scheduled Availability, set the dates and times when tours can be scheduled.

   • For Open House, add the open house date, time, and instructions.

6. Save your changes.

Once saved, you'll see a list of any currently scheduled tours. These tours will be cancelled, and we'll reach out to the leads to reschedule. This allows their tours to fit into the updated availability schedule and allows us to incorporate any additional availability such as from an external calendar.

Before changing a unit’s showing method, review:

• Upcoming tours already scheduled for the unit

• Access instructions shown to leads or agents

• Availability windows

• Qualification requirements

• Any property-specific notes that may no longer apply

Changing the showing method affects how new tours are scheduled going forward. It may not automatically update tours that were already booked before the change.
