Live video tours

Overview

Live video tours offer a convenient way for agents to showcase homes to prospective tenants, who are unable to come in-person to view the property.

When this option is enables, it allows Showdigs agents or your team members to conduct virtual showings, similar to platforms like FaceTime or WhatsApp video call, but utilizing the unique Showdigs virtual link, so prospects will not need to download any special app. We provide a unique link for that tour, to a web interface for a video call. The prospect can share this link with others who would like to join them for the video tour.

How do I set it up?

Only an account owner can enable this feature. Once enabled, it will allow video tours for all your active properties, Self-showings or Open House showings.

To enable video tours, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your Showdigs account.

  2. Click your name on the top right.

  3. Select Settings.

  4. Select the Showings setting from the left menu.

  5. Scroll down to the Other showings settings section

  6. Turn on the "Live Video Tours" option. (The slider will turn green).

You are all set!

What do prospects see?

Once the live video tour feature is enabled, the process will see two option for scheduling a tour: In-person and live video:

Shortly before the scheduled time we text the prospect a message with the link to the "video room" for them to join. Our agent will connect with them to provide a comprehensive tour experience as if they were physically present.

Crafting an attention-grabbing listing description

Prospects may not thoroughly read lengthy property descriptions. To address this, consider adding engaging visuals to your listing that highlight the availability of live video tours. Here are a couple ideas:

  • Emphasize the availability of live video tours right from the start of the listing description.

  • Include an appealing photo that clearly establishing the option for video tours among the marketing photos. This can significantly enhance prospects' understanding of this feature, thereby increasing the likelihood of scheduling a tour for those who cannot attend in-person.
