If you're using CodeBox or SentriLock keyboxes, you can now create a secure, pre-approved list of vendors, from maintenance professionals to cleaning services, who can instantly receive temporary access codes with a simple text message.

1. Go to the Devices page.

2. Make sure your lockboxes are assigned to the correct properties (this is a prerequisite for generating codes).

3. Then click on a new tab called Vendors.

4. Add authorized vendors by name and number.

5. Those vendors, from their registered phone number, can text the serial number of a CodeBox or SentriLock device to your Showdigs phone line (Settings > Business > Phone Line). If the system identifies them as an authorized vendor, it will send back an access code so they can enter the property.

When a pre-approved vendor texts your Showdigs phone line, they immediately receive a unique, time-limited access code.

1. When a vendor arrives at a property, they can send a text message to your Leasing Phone Line (Settings > Business > "Leasing Phone Line") with the serial number from the keybox.

2. We'll confirm that the number they sent it from is authorized. If it is, we'll send back an access code, effective immediately.

3. The vendor can use the code to open the keybox and access the property.
