How do I transition from Rentvine (or Buildium) to AppFolio?

Note: This article is written for a transition from Rentvine to AppFolio, but a Buildium transition works the same way - follow the same steps.

If you are moving from Rentvine to AppFolio, let the Showdigs team know your planned cutover date so we can coordinate the integration change.

AppFolio sends Showdigs a connection request when you enable the integration on their side. Once we receive that request, our team will manually complete the transition.

Around your cutover date, we will:

1. Disable your Rentvine integration.

2. Clean up integration-specific data from the previous connection.

3. Enable and configure your AppFolio integration once we receive AppFolio’s connection request.

Your existing Showdigs data remains available throughout the transition. Once the AppFolio integration is connected, Showdigs can resume syncing properties from AppFolio and sending applicable lead activity back to AppFolio.

Application links on active properties may still point to Rentvine. Before directing new prospects to apply, review your active listings and replace those links with the appropriate AppFolio application links.

This ensures applicants are sent to the correct application experience after your cutover.
