Zapier lets you connect Showdigs with thousands of the most popular apps, so you can automate your work and have more time for what matters most—no code required.

What can I do with Showdigs in Zapier?

Triggers

Currently, we have a single Showdigs trigger available that covers:

  • A new inquiry received (new_inquiry)

  • A tour being scheduled (tour_scheduled)

  • A tour being completed (tour_completed)

  • A tour being cancelled (tour_cancelled)

You can use Paths in Zapier to create separate lanes for each event and connect the actions you'd like to see. A typical setup might include a path for each event based on the event type (listed above in parenthesis).

Below is an example of a Zap that was created to sync prospects from Showdigs to LeadSimple. You'll notice a branch for each event type, and then search and create/update actions in LeadSimple.

Actions

Currently, there is one action you can take in Showdigs and that's to create a new inquiry. While we are a common syndication platform and synchronize guest cards from AppFolio, if there is ever another system that you get information from and would like to automate the creation of an inquiry, the action is available for you.


How can I get started?

Quick Start: Send a message to Slack

We have a quick start template available for you in Zapier that utilizes the messages data point in our trigger to send a message in Slack. It will send new prospects and tour update notifications to a Slack channel of your choice.

Be sure to update your API connections and the Slack channel.

We have a quick start template available for you in Zapier that will send an email each time a new inquiry is received. Use this as-is to get notified in your inbox (or your CRM), or use it as a basis for building multiple email triggers.

Be sure to update your API connections and the destination email address.

Custom: Build anything you want!

Review the triggers and actions sections above, and use Zapier to connect with any app you'd like. Here are a few things to keep in mind when building:

  • The Showdigs trigger can only be used in one Zap, so if you want to use it for multiple workflows, you'll need to tie those all together in a single Zap.

  • Each event in the trigger has slightly different information, so be sure to test each path in your flow.

  • The events in the trigger have several similarities as well, including a "Message" data point that includes a summary of what happened. This is highlighted in our Slack template, above.
