Adding the property on Showdigs
When adding the property to your Showdigs dashboard, fill at least one of the unit fields with the unit number.
You can add more units using the 'add another unit' button, OR remove units using the trashcan icon to the right.
When choosing to start on-demand showings, you will be able to choose which unit to activate using the drop-down menu.
Once you have completed the activation process, the unit you just created will be available for showings. When clicking the property in the main properties list, you will be able to see the status of each unit individually, and add any additional units as needed.
Once showings are enabled, you will be able to operate each unit independently; pause a showing if needed, stop showings when the lease is finalized, edit unit-specific notes or access instructions.
A few notes!
Units at the same property behave generally like individual properties, but there are a few shortcuts to make the set-up a bit smoother.
There is some information shared between each unit such as: the address, cover photo, Appfolio name, and the pre-screening criteria.
Some marketing platforms - Zillow, for example - send guest cards without specifying the unit desired. If the property has only one active unit, we will automatically assign that unit. Otherwise, we will assign the latest activated unit. Adding inquiries manually or using our scheduling link is unit-specific and will not be affected.
